Position Overview 
 
The Learning Analytics team assists the Learning, Leadership, and Organizational Development (LL&OD) group with evaluating the effectiveness, efficiency, and outcomes of both Learning and Human Capital Investments. Specifically, this team measures the impact of programs within the organization intended to increase Human Capital. Pockets of excellence are identified, and areas for improvement are targeted for resource reallocation to ensure the organization is maximizing their investment and obtaining the proper Return on Investment/Expectation.

The role of the MPC3 is to support the Learning Analytics team in the Work as an individual contributor as well as team member, pioneering the development of a standardized training and OD evaluation center for LL&OD. Implement ROI training methodology, from content revision to Return on Investment studies for training conducted throughout the company. Collaborate with executives and management to identify department and organizational evaluation and assessment needs. Responsible for coordinating data collection, statistical reporting, analyzing findings, generating ideas and providing support for implementing organizational development solutions. Manage junior employees in development of evaluation skills and general industry knowledge. A specialty in evaluation is necessary and a Master's Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology is required. Cross-functional opportunities in assessment, job analysis, organizational research and general organizational development work are offered.
 
Typical Responsibilities Include:
 
  • Independently identify areas that require statistical reporting and determine impact
  • Extrapolate information and perform extensive statistical analysis using MS Excel and SPSS
  • Work with departments throughout the company to identify problem areas, perform an extensive evaluation, diagnose the situation and make recommendations on changes
  • Perform organizational diagnostics and measurement techniques to assess and make recommendations on any department issues
  • Train and monitor the workflow of junior analysts/consultants, ensuring they are trained and performing their duties correctly and in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Request data pulls from other departments and conduct statistical analysis to validate LL&OD interventions against external sources of data
  • Utilize technology for data collection and analysis on projects including: coding surveys; measuring program effectiveness; running reports to analyze response rates; analyzing data using existing reports and/or downloading the data into Excel
  • Provide strategic support to clients by conducting research
  • Support the LL&OD Technical Training group as needed
  • Promotes the Company’s safety culture to ensure a safe work environment.

 

Job Requirements

 

Required Qualifications  
  • Master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, or Human Resources is required
  • Must have 3+ years of experience with SPSS
  • 2+ years of consulting (internal/external) work experience
  • Demonstrated experience with vendor management
  • Experience with Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge and background in human capital processes including learning and development
  • Time and task management skills
  • Project management capabilities including managing multiple projects at the same time
  • Strong customer facing skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team environment and individually
  • Analyze, visualize, and present data in a way that helps clients make decisions
  • Must demonstrate the ability to integrate work across relevant areas, develop the business and services to enhance customer satisfaction and productivity, manage risks appropriately, develop and execute business plans, manage information, and provide exceptional service to internal and external customers.
