Plante & Moran’s Organizational Development & Personnel Assessment Practice provides a broad array of services, guidance and solutions tailored to meet the client’s specific needs, including: personnel selection, leadership development, succession planning, organizational assessments, team effectiveness, organizational change, and human resource department reviews. This position will have dual responsibilities as an internal consultant to Plante Moran and as an external consultant to Plante Moran clients. 40 – 50% of the Senior Consultant’s time will be allocated as an internal consultant providing the following services: personnel assessment of experienced hire candidates for Plante Moran, providing feedback on testing results and on boarding suggestions to hiring managers, providing vocational feedback and development suggestions to current Plante Moran staff members, and consulting on internal organizational development special projects for the firm. Approximately 50 – 60% percent of the Senior Consultant’s time will be consulting with external clients in areas such as: talent assessment, succession planning, human resources department reviews, leadership development, organizational assessment, team effectiveness, and organizational change. Additionally, the Senior Consultant will be a contributing practice builder by assisting in the growth of the practice. The growth will be accomplished by serving and expanding work with current clients and cultivating new business within the existing Plante & Moran client base.
Master’s Degree, Ph.D. or Psy.D. in a psychology field with an emphasis in Industrial/Organizational (I/O) Psychology
3-7 years of experience is preferred.
The preferred candidate would possess two or more years of Human Resources experience.
Business experience in working with clients in diverse industries and managing multiple projects.
Expertise in personnel assessment, leadership development, succession planning, human resources consulting and project management is preferred.
Travel & Hours
This is an exempt position that may require some Saturday work hours and overtime during workweek.
Qualified individuals must either reside in or near Southfield, Michigan or Chicago, IL, or be willing to relocate to the either area at his/her own cost.
Up to 40% travel may be required with this position. The successful candidate would be located either in our Southfield, Michigan or Chicago, Illinois office.
