LEC Continuing Education Credits

CE SEEKERS:

You must sign in AND sign out of the CE Sign-In Sheet to receive credit for each workshop and each educational block 1 to 5 that you attend while at the LEC.  Once your attendance has been confirmed, you will receive a letter via email awarding you CE credit within 30 days of the event.

CE For Psychology Purposes

The Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology is approved by the American Psychology Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists.  The Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology maintains responsibility for this program and its content.  For more information about APA, please visit www.apa.org/education/ce/.

  • 2022 LEC Workshops 1, 2 and 3 will each provide 3.5  continuing education credits for psychology.
    •  Workshop 1: Workplace Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, & Belonging: New Perspectives, Insights, and Actions (3.5)
    •  Workshop 2: Mental Health in the Workplace: The Critical Role of Managers (3.5)
    •  Workshop 3: How Leaders Create Organizational Agility and Resilience: It's Not What You Think (3.5)
  • The following 2022 LEC Education Program Blocks will provide continuing education credits for psychology:
    •  Block 1:: "Changes in Work, Workers, and Organizations in Response to Economic, Pandemic, and Societal Changes -- Implications for Employee Experience" (1.75)
    •  Block 2: "Well-Being"  (2.75)
    •  Block 3: "Improving the Employee Experience Through Development, Compensation, Diversity Programs" (2.5)
    •  Block 4: "Leading Through Distruption" (2.0)
    •  Block 5 "Pulling It All Together/Keynote" (1.5)

To obtain continuing education credit for psychology purposes:

  • CE Seekers must sign in and sign out on the CE Sign-In Sheet that will be in the room.
  • No partial credit will be awarded.
  • SIOP will issue documentation granting credit within 30 days post-event after verifying full attendance.
  • The 2022 LEC Workshops and Educational Blocks are not registered with the State of New York to offer psychology credits. Please read more about this evolving situation on the New York State Psychological Association (NYSPA) website.
