Experienced I-O Practitioners Seeking to Build Connections Invited to SIOP Speed Benchmarking
SIOP Speed Benchmarking: April 12 2:00-3:30 PM (1.5 Hours) EST
Practitioners with more than 5years of experience are invited to expand their SIOP network, benchmark I-O best practices with other applied I-O psychologists working in the same field at the SIOP Speed Benchmarking event April 12, 2023, from 2:00 to 3:30 PM EST.
What is Speed Benchmarking?
Speed Benchmarking is a free, 90-minute virtual event on ZOOM. The experience is designed to build connections and ignite conversations between experienced IO practitioners working in similar areas of the field. You will be placed into a small group of mid- to late-career professionals who share a common set of interests and expertise. A facilitator will lead a brief benchmarking discussion where participants will be invited to share innovative practices and solutions to common challenges.
What topics will be covered?
Discussions will begin by focusing on the following general topics; however, discussions may shift based on the interests and expertise of the participants. Initial topics to choose from include:
- Succession Planning
- Talent attraction and retention
- Workforce Analytics
- Learning & Development
- Coaching - Building High-Performing Cultures
- Survey, Listening, & Engagement
- Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion
Who should participate?
This event is designed for mid- to late-career IO psychologists with 5+ years of full-time experience. It is a great opportunity to meet like-minded colleagues and learn something new.
Practitioners must be registered to attend the 2023 SIOP Annual Conference either virtually or in person to participate in this event. The deadline to register is Friday, March 24, 2023.
