2022 SIOP Annual Conference Continuing Education Credit Opportunities

The following continuing education credit opportunities will be available at the annual conference. CE credit seekers must attend the entire session to receive credit.

Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists.

The Advanced Professional Development Program 1: Natural Language Processing offers attendees 8.0 psychology credits. To earn the credit, register for and attend ALL FOUR SESSIONS of the program (March 29, April 5, April 12, and April 19). You will need to sign into each ZOOM session with your full name and remain connected, even during the breaks. The activity ID will be provided in documentation to be issued by the SIOP Administrative Office within 30 days post conference. 


The Advanced Professional Development Program 2: Motivational Interviewing offers attendees 8.0 psychology credits. To earn the credit, register for and attend ALL FOUR SESSIONS of the program (April 4, April 6, April 18, and April 20). You will need to sign into each ZOOM session with your full name and remain connected, even during the breaks. The activity ID will be provided in documentation to be issued by the SIOP Administrative Office within 30 days post conference. 


The 2022 In-Person Preconference Workshops 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 each offer attendees 3.5 psychology credits and 2022 Virtual Preconference Workshops 2 and 3 (but not Workshop 1) will offer 3.5 psychology credits. Please see bullet below on New York state. To earn the credit, register for and attend one or more Preconference Workshops either in-person or virtually. You may attend as many workshops as you like. CE credit seekers must remain logged in to the entire workshop for the duration of the event. SIOP will issue documentation granting credit within 30 days post-event after verifying full attendance.


The 2022 Hybrid Friday Seminar 1 and the In-Person Friday Seminars 2, 4, and 5 each offer attendees 3.0 psychology credits (Friday Seminar #3 has been postponed), and 2022 Virtual Friday Seminar 1 also will offer 3.0 psychology credits. Please see bullet below on New York state. To earn the credit, register for and attend one or more the Friday Seminars ever in-person or virtually. You may attend as many Friday Seminars as you like. CE credit seekers must remain logged in to the seminar for the duration of the event. SIOP will issue documentation granting credit within 30 days post-event after verifying full attendance.

 

To obtain continuing education credit for psychology purposes:

·       Individuals must attend the full program/workshop/seminar to obtain credit; partial credit will not be awarded.

·       Attendees must log in to ZOOM using their full name and remain logged into the program/workshop/seminar for the entirety of the event.

·       SIOP will issue documentation granting credit within 30 days post-event after verifying full attendance.

·       The 2022 Advanced Professional Development Program, the 2022 Friday Seminars, and the 2022 Preconference Workshops are not registered with the State of New York to offer psychology credits to New York residents.

Advanced Professional Development Programs 1 & 2 are not approved by HRCI for credit.
