In the past there have been themes at the SIOP Conference, but they have never been the magnitude of this year’s Theme Tracks, being like a conference within a conference. This new feature allows for a deep dive into critical topics that affect a broad range of SIOP members. Appealing to both academics and practitioners, each track will offer a full day of coherent programming composed of presentations, symposia, interactive poster sessions, and an invited debate.
There will be two Theme Tracks, each having six sessions.
The first track is on Thursday, April 10, entitled “Individual–Organizational Health,” and the other is on Saturday, April 12, entitled “Preparing for the Future: A Critical and Constructive Look at I–O Education.”
When deciding what sessions to attend, save room in your schedule for the Theme Tracks!
As an extra bonus, continuing education credits will be offered for the Saturday Theme Track. You are eligible to earn seven CE credits, but all six sessions must be attended.
Note: Theme Track postcards recently went out stating that seven CE Credits will be given per track, but this is not accurate – changes have been made since the printing of the postcard. To clarify, as indicated in the previous paragraph, you are only eligible to receive credits for the Saturday track – credits will not be given for the Thursday track.
