Dave Bartram, BA, DPhil, CPsychol, CSc, FBPsS

Dave Bartram is research director for SHL Group Ltd. Prior to that he was dean of the Faculty of Science and the Environment and professor of Psychology in the Department of Psychology at the University of Hull. He is past-president and a current council member of the International Test Commission (ITC).  He is the convenor of the European Federation of Psychologists Association’s Standing Committee on Tests and Testing and a member and past chair of the British Psychological Society’s Steering Committee on Test Standards. He is the UK Delegation leader for the ISO 10667 project on standards for assessment in work and organizational setting and is president of the International Association of Applied Psychology’s Division 2 (Assessment and Evaluation). He received the BPS Distinguished Contribution to Professional Psychology award in 2004 and was appointed special professor in Occupational Psychology and Measurement at the University of Nottingham in 2007. His research has focused on computer-based assessment and online testing.
