Rigor and methods of psychology are applied to issues of critical relevance to business, including talent management, coaching, assessment, selection, training, organizational development, performance, and work-life balance.

20th Annual SIOP Conference Los Angeles, California The Westin Bonaventure Hotel and Suites April 15-17, 2005 Workshops April 14

You are most cordially invited to attend this year's SIOP conference in Los Angeles, California at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel and Suites.  The Westin Bonaventure is not only stunning in its architecture but has a wonderful location in the downtown Los Angeles cultural center.  Close by are the fashion and jewelry centers.   Other local attractions are Universal Studios, Dodgers' Stadium, Hollywood, Disneyland,  Beverly Hills, and area beaches.  The Westin Bonaventure itself houses 42 restaurants, shops, boutiques, a fitness center and other amenities.    

As always, the SIOP conference program offers something for everyone.   New to this year's program are two new session typesAcademic-Practitioner Collaborative Form and Theoretical Advancementsand two new topics, Organizational Justice and Person-Environment Fit. Last year in Chicago we had over 3,700 conference goers, and hope to have a record number again this year! 

SIOP will again be handing out bags at the conference thanks to our 2005 conference bag sponsors: Aon Consulting, Kenexa, and SHL.  This is a high-quality, functional black bag with plenty of pockets for pencils/pens, business cards, and papers; a place for a cell phone and water bottle; and also a padded compartment for a laptop.  The first 3,200 attendees to pick up their conference badge will receive one.
