Eric Braverman

Eric Braverman, PhD, currently leads the Global Assessment and Selection function at Merck & Co., Inc., a large pharmaceutical company located in central New Jersey. While at Merck, Eric has been responsible for crafting and implementing a global assessment strategy, spanning the continuum from selection to development and talent management, across all critical business functions (e.g., R&D, Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, etc.). Prior to joining Merck, Eric held similar roles at retailer Williams-Sonoma and at AT&T, implementing assessment processes and tools for a wide range of talent management functions, including succession planning, executive selection, and selection of sales managers, sales employees, store managers, and call center employees. Eric received his BA in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and his MA & Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Maryland.
