Matthew Dreyer

Matthew Dreyer is Director of Assessment & Selection at Prudential Financial.  As part of the Talent Organization, Matt is responsible for assessments used to select and develop talent at all levels.  In this role, Matt supports the recruiting, succession management, and executive development processes by identifying new and innovative ways to leverage assessments and other best practices.  Matt has held a variety of roles in Human Resources as an internal and external consultant.  Prior to joining Prudential, Matt spent ten years working at Verizon, where he was a part of several centers of excellence, including assessment and selection, diversity and inclusion, leadership development and succession management.  Matt also spent five years with Aon Consulting in the Washington, DC area working with a wide variety of public and private sector clients on projects ranging from assessment design and validation to leadership assessment and development.  Matt has numerous presentations at SIOP and other professional conferences, on topics related to I/O Psychology and HR best practices.  He is passionate about helping others identify their ideal career path and reach their highest potential.  Outside of work Matt spends his time with his wife Katherine and their two boys.
