Speed Benchmarking

This is an opportunity to connect with applied Industrial-Organizational Psychology practitioners who work in the same practice area or share similar interests in I-O topics. The session is designed for practitioners who can contribute to the benchmarking discussion and want to accelerate the networking process—quickly matching groups of professionals with similar areas of focus, engaging them in conversation, and laying the foundation for ongoing discussions. Attendees will walk away with valuable new connections for benchmarking and collaboration, as well as new ideas to implement in their area of practice. The topics for discussion in this session may include:

  • Performance Management, Succession Planning, Talent Assessment, Workforce Analytics, Employee Listening/Surveys, Leadership Development/Training, Coaching, and Diversity/Equity/Inclusion.

Career Growth Exploration Event

This exclusive event is tailored for seasoned practitioners with a minimum of two years of experience in the field, aiming to delve into effective strategies for navigating a thriving Industrial-Organizational Psychology career across various trajectories. Participants will have the opportunity to select two specific categories of interest for further exploration, convening at breakout tables facilitated by seasoned professionals occupying these roles. The agenda encompasses in-depth discussions on diverse career paths, including:

  • Academic Careers, Solo Practitioners, Internal Corporate I-O Role, Consulting Firm, Volunteering/Board work, Portfolio Career (doing a variety of things at the same time)
