The annual SIOP conference helps to support the vision of SIOP, namely, to be recognized as the premier professional group committed to advancing the science and practice of the psychology of work. The conference is also key to supporting SIOP’s mission to enhance human well-being and performance in organizational and work settings by promoting the science, practice, and teaching of industrial-organizational psychology. The SIOP conference will contain three full days of programming and will feature over 900 peer-reviewed submissions appealing to a wide variety of academics and practitioners.
The SIOP Program Committee welcomes proposals aligned to SIOP core values. In particular, proposals should demonstrate contributions to improving the effectiveness of organizations and the well being of individuals in the workforce, and reflect excellence in education, research and practice of I-O psychology. In terms of format, we encourage proposals that are designed to maximize novelty and audience engagement. In particular, we encourage use of alternative sessions, IGNITE! formats, and debates. We also encourage proposals for 50-minute sessions.
