2022 SIOP Distinguished Award Recipients Honored

Every year, SIOP and the SIOP Foundation present numerous awards recognizing excellence in professional and student work. For 2022, eight SIOP members have been honored with distinguished awards.

These recipients were honored during both the Conference Kickoff virtual event and the in-person Opening Plenary of the 2022 SIOP Annual Conference in Seattle. They will also be individually featured in a social media campaign spanning SIOP’s TwitterFacebookLinkedIn, and Instagram accounts beginning in May.

SIOP Distinguished Awards are given in recognition of a lifetime of outstanding contributions or distinguished early career contributions to the practice or science of industrial and organizational psychology; sustained, significant, and outstanding service to SIOP; a sustained record of excellence in the teaching of I-O psychology; or sustained, significant, and outstanding humanitarian contributions related to I-O psychology.

  • Research Grants
SIOP invests in the advancement of I-O psychology by funding research initiatives. Grants are available through programs that support research in any area of interest to SIOP members and through programs that support research on key topics, such as leadership and diversity. Several grants are specifically designed to support research by graduate students.
  • Scholarships and Fellowships
SIOP awards several scholarships and a fellowship to recognize achievement by graduate students in I-O psychology and related fields and to provide these students with financial support.
