The Consortia Committee oversees and develops the programming for the four consortia featured at the SIOP Annual Conference.

The Continuing Education Committee assesses, supports, and advances the enhancement of the scientific and professional skills of SIOP members.

The Education and Training Committee fosters and advocates for the advancement of the scientific and practical skills of both current and prospective SIOP members.

SIOP’s Leading Edge Consortium (LEC) Committee organizes its namesake event. 

The APA Program Committee develops the I-O psychology programming for the American Psychological Association (APA) Annual Convention.

SIOP’s APS Program Committee develops the I-O psychology track for the Association for Psychological Science (APS) Annual Convention.

The SIOP Conference Committee oversees the planning and organization of SIOP’s Annual Conference.

SIOP’s DIP Program Committee is dedicated to promoting diversity in the field of I-O psychology by enhancing the diversity of students applying for and being admitted to funded doctoral programs in I-O psychology. 

 

SIOP’s Annual Conference programming is directly supported by this committee’s work.

The Virtual Program for Great China Region Committee oversees the content generation, planning, and execution of the virtual learning sessions offered to institutions in the Great China Region.

The Workshops and Learning Programs Committee is responsible for planning and coordinating I-O psychology learning experiences.

SIOP’s awards, scholarships, and grants recipients are facilitated through the Awards Committee.

I-O professionals open to work are connected to employers through the offerings provided by the Career Services Committee.

The Committee on Ethnic and Minority Affairs is tasked with advocating for the interests and inclusion of racial and ethnic minorities within SIOP and the I-O field. 

The Disability, Inclusion, and Accessibility Committee (DIAC) focuses on supporting and championing disability and disability identity within SIOP and the workforce.

The SIOP Fellowship Committee oversees the evaluation of nominations for SIOP Fellow status.

Their core work includes curating programming during the SIOP Annual Conference, members who have an interest in driving global actions as they relate to the workplace will find this work satisfying. 

The LGBTQIA+ Committee focuses on increasing awareness of LGBTQIA+ issues within the organization, encouraging research, and promoting the LGBTQIA+ voice.

The Licensing, Certification, and Credentialing Committee is responsible for matters related to licensure, certification, and credentialing as they relate to I-O psychological practice.

The Membership Committee is responsible for the review of member applications, member surveys, and member analytics to support SIOP’s mission and goals

SIOP’s Military and Veterans Inclusion Committee focuses on growth and maintenance of those with a shared interest in military, veteran, and military family populations, experiences, and occupations.

The Women’s Inclusion Network is responsible for issues related to women's treatment, inclusion, and experiences both within SIOP as an organization as well as within the field of industrial-organizational psychology as a whole.

The Elections Committee is responsible for supporting the annual Executive Board nominations and elections.  

 

SIOP’s History Committee oversees all activities related to the preservation of the organization’s past. 

 

The Institutional Research Committee establishes policies regarding SIOP's participation in surveys and third-party research including the use and disposition of data. 

The Publications Board provides oversight of SIOP’s publications to ensure highest standards across the publications.

The Site Selection Committee is responsible for determining destination and venues for SIOP Annual Conferences.

The Support, Planning, and Research ad hoc Committee (SPARC) is responsible for timely, agile responses to Executive Board requests. 

The Industrial and Organizational Psychology (IOP) Journal Editorial Board is responsible for the oversight of this member-only publication.

SIOP’s Organizational Frontiers Series Editorial Board provides the oversight and review of the books aimed at keeping researchers and practitioners aware of the developments in the constantly evolving workplace.

The Organizational Science, Translation, and Application Series Editorial Board is responsible for identifying volume topics and developing book proposals.

The Professional Practice Book Series Editorial Board provides oversight for SIOP’s flagship series that captures the best current evidence-based practical resources in the field.

The Industrial-Organizational Psychologist (TIP) Editorial Board is responsible for the oversight of all content of this public-facing publication

SIOP is a member of the Alliance for Organizational Psychology along with 17 other global psychological associations with a shared mission to increase the visibility and relevance of worldwide organizational psychological work.

The Committee for the Advancement of Professional Ethics (CAPE) addresses the professional development needs related to ethical challenges in I-O psychology by identifying, developing and disseminating resources, while also serving as a response team to the Ethics Code of the APA.

The GREAT Committee is responsible for the Society’s advocacy efforts that impact federal policy and legislation at local levels.

The Local I-O Group Relations Committee is responsible for providing operational resources to locally operated I-O psychology groups.

The Open Science and Practice Committee is responsible for developing and maintaining a culture of open science in research and application of I-O psychology. 

The Professional Practice Committee addresses the needs of SIOP members in applied I-O psychology by advocating, partnering, with other committees, and providing resources, programs, and member benefits.

SIOP’s Scientific Affairs Committee encourages, promotes, and facilitates greater contributions of a scientific and technical nature to the I-O psychology field.  

The United Nations Committee seeks to bring I-O psychology related theory, research and practice to help advance the programs and goals of the United Nations Economic and Social Counsel (ECOSOC).

The Visibility Committee is responsible for increasing the visibility of SIOP, SIOP membership, and I-O psychology to business leaders, public policy officials, and the general public.
