Overview

Although CSR is a common value, employers often do not have enough information about how to effectively implement it. SIOP members can fill this gap by using I-O psychology for evidence-based CSR practices.

In 2016, SIOP held the Corporate Social Responsibility Summit (CSR Summit). Following this event, the group launched The Corporate Social Responsibility and Prosocial/Humanitarian I-O Registry to create a centralized resource database of international industrial-organizational psychologists with knowledge, experience, and interest in CSR, humanitarian work psychology (HWP), and prosocial I-O.
