Jennie Huang, PhD, is a behavioral economist and people researcher with deep expertise in individual behavior and decision making, experimental design, and causal inference.
Currently a Principal Researcher on the Talent Analytics team at Netflix, Jennie leads end-to-end applied research on topics including feedback culture, efficient interviewing, and organizational network analysis. Prior to Netflix, she was a Senior Data Scientist on the People Analytics & Research team at Airbnb, leading the employee listening roadmap and conducting research on employee programs, equitable outcomes, and worker behaviors. Before Airbnb, she studied hybrid work’s impact on employee experience at Google and examined investor behavior and household decision making as a Research Economist at Vanguard.
Jennie holds a PhD in Applied Economics from The Wharton School, where she also served as a Visiting Scholar exploring how social preferences and information shape individual decision making.
