Michael Bazigos works at the intersection of I-O psychology, measurement, AI, and humanistic practice. As Professor of Organizational AI at Columbia University, he created and teaches the graduate course on which this workshop is built — translating the science of selection, assessment, and OD into the agentic systems now reshaping each. As Managing Partner of Mentora Labs — the applied R&D and psychometric research arm of Mentora Institute — and of CultureShifts Consulting LLC, he leads original research and field engagements with organizations navigating AI-driven workforce transformation.
His three decades at this intersection include serving as Vice President and Global Head of Organizational Science at McKinsey and Global Managing Director (Partner) of Organizational Analytics Consulting at Accenture, with additional senior roles at KPMG, IBM, and PwC. Hired as CEO successor of Accenture’s Change Tracker business, he added over 22 new offerings, growing it 20x from starting revenue in his first three years, putting it on a billion-dollar trajectory. He is an elected Fellow of both SIOP and APA, holds patents in AI-driven task automation and job analysis, and earned his PhD and M.Phil. in Social-Organizational Psychology from Columbia and his MA in I-O Psychology from NYU.
