Timothy C. Lisk, PhD is a People Research Scientist at Meta, where his work focuses on the intersection of AI, skills intelligence, and work design within People Analytics. He drives the development of systems that infer workforce capabilities from behavioral signals rather than self-report, and studies how generative AI is reshaping the structure of knowledge work itself. His applied research has produced neural network architectures for skills inference at scale, structured frameworks for job analysis in AI-augmented environments, and measurement infrastructure for tracking AI adoption and its downstream effects on workforce capabilities. Prior to his current role, Tim held product management and people analytics positions across the technology sector. He holds a PhD in Industrial-Organizational Psychology and is a SIOP member. He remains stubbornly optimistic that rigorous measurement, practical tooling, and AI adaptation aren’t mutually exclusive.
