William H. Macey, Ph.D., is Senior Research Fellow at CultureFactors, Inc. He has spent most of his career helping private and public sector organizations to achieve greater effectiveness through evidence-based practice, primarily through cultural diagnosis and change. He was the CEO of Valtera Corporation until the acquisition of Valtera by CEB in 2012, and was subsequently Managing Director, Global Research Office at CEB until 2014. A SIOP, APA, and APS fellow, he has held a number of elected positions relevant to SIOP governance, including President, Secretary, and APA Council Representative. A recipient of SIOP’s Distinguished Service and Professional Contributions awards, he currently serves as a trustee of the SIOP Foundation. Other relevant service contributions include having twice led the advisory committee for selecting SIOP’s Executive Director, and chairing SIOP’s conference, workshop and continuing education, and fellowship committees. He has also served as a member of SIOP’s Ad Hoc Task Force on AI-Based Assessments.
