The SIOP Income and Employment Survey is conducted every 3 years to gather data about current salaries, employment trends, and conditions in the field of I-O psychology. Your input in this important survey is critical to ensuring that the results are representative of your practice area and provide relevant benchmarks so that members like you can use the survey report during compensation conversations with employers.

The survey topics covered include variables that are typically correlated with income, trends over time, information about supplementary income, and the impact of workforce management, AI, and RTO policies on salary and income. You can access prior income survey reports to determine the types of information you will be requested to provide.

The data you provide can help organizations make compensation decisions and allow current and potential I-O psychologists to gauge how they are or should be compensated for their work. Results will be published in The Industrial-Organizational Psychologist (TIP) and on the SIOP website.

The survey will close June 9, 2026. Please gather your 2025 salary/income, pay raise, benefits, and bonus information to help you complete the survey, and access the survey via the invitation email sent by Richard Landers on May 26.

If you completed the survey during the SIOP Annual Conference, your submission will be included, and you do not need to participate again.
