The SIOP Program Committee is working hard to provide a meaningful, enriching, and exciting conference experience at the 2027 SIOP Annual Conference in National Harbor this coming April. Diverse, high-quality proposals are an important component of this goal. The Submission Center for the 2027 SIOP Annual Conference Call for Proposals (CFP) will open Sept. 2, 2026.
Please review the CFP and submit your session proposal by 5 p.m. ET on October 7, 2026.
The SIOP Program Committee will be accepting the same submission types as previous years, such as symposia, posters, and panel discussions. All proposal submissions will undergo a peer review process by SIOP members. Proposals will be evaluated for clarity, scientific and practical contribution, methodologies, and relevance to the field.
Your SIOP membership must be active to submit a proposal. To ensure a smooth submission process, please make sure that your SIOP membership is active, which is located in your membership profile. If you need to renew your membership, please do so at least 1 business day before you plan to submit your proposal. Using the latest version of Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Safari, or Firefox will also help in the submission process.
Please note that all proposal submitters will automatically be enrolled as proposal reviewers. Information about the review process, expectations, and timelines will be provided separately to all submitters.
Additionally, all speakers whose proposals are accepted will be required to register for the conference. All speakers must be registered conference attendees to participate in the program.
