Marginalia Conference Submission Deadline Extended

Dear Colleagues,

We are still accepting abstract submissions for key note and data blitz speakers and posters for the upcoming Marginalia Conference, which will take place in person at Boston College on Friday, October 30th, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (lunch provided). This event is dedicated to promoting the work of marginalized scholars in the psychological and social sciences (broadly defined), building meaningful connections across disciplines, and providing professional development opportunities.

We would greatly appreciate it if you could share this information with your members/listserv. We are currently accepting submissions for this one-day event.

Conference Details & Call for Submissions:

• Who should apply: Early career faculty, post-doctoral scholars, PhD students, masters students, and undergraduates. We especially encourage submissions from scholars who come from marginalized and underrepresented backgrounds and/or whose research focuses on the experiences of marginalized individuals.
• Presentation formats: Featured talks (20 min), data blitz sessions (5 min), and posters
• Incentives: Keynote speakers will receive an honorarium and travel reimbursement. Data blitz presenters will receive an honorarium.

Registration is FREE, thanks to a generous grant from the Boston College Institute for Liberal Arts. Please register by October 20th in order for us to maintain an accurate headcount.
