Preconference Workshops Offer Unique Professional Development

The SIOP Workshop Committee is offering nine engaging workshops as part of the 2025 SIOP Annual Conference this year, each designed to provide in-depth learning and practical insights on key topics in industrial-organizational psychology. Register now to enhance your conference experience, learn from experts in the field, and network with peers.

The nine workshops will all be held Wednesday, April 2, and will focus on trending and critical topics in the field, most provide continuing education credits.

The workshops include:

• Consulting to Teams: Science, Strategies, and Scalable Solutions
• Building Challenge Readiness: Strategies for Sustainable Resilience
• Inside the Black Box: Practical Tools for Succession Planning
• Accountability With Empathy: How Compassionate Feedback Yields Better Results
• AI in Learning and Development: Practical Applications and Critical Evaluation
• Workforce Planning that Works: Pragmatic Approaches to Align Talent With Current and Future Demand
• Strongly Agree to Strongly Disagree: I Saw Action From Our Last Employee Survey
• Bridging Minds & Machines: Teaching I-Os to Speak the Language of Developers

Registration for workshops is done via the online conference registration process on a first-come, first-served basis. You can add a preconference workshop to your registration at any time by returning to the registration form.

Never participated in an in-person workshop before? Here’s what you need to know:

• SIOP preconference workshops are interactive. Participants are provided with opportunities to network throughout the day, interacting with experts in the topic area and others who face similar challenges at work!
• Registration for each workshop session is capped at 40 attendees to ensure an intimate setting, so we encourage you to register early before they fill up.
• Registrants will be given access to the presentation materials website for all nine workshops, not just the one(s) for which they register. Details for accessing presentations will be shared with registrants closer to the workshop date.
• Preconference workshops are add-on events and an extra registration fee
