Renewing your SIOP membership equips everyone who is passionate about I-O psychology with the tools, connections, and support needed to flourish. And because different members need different resources, SIOP offers a variety of membership options to meet you where you are in your professional journey.
Professional membership in SIOP—Members, Associates, Fellows, and retired—is intended for those with an education in I-O psychology who are actively engaged in its study or professional practice. Your professional membership category may change to Fellow or retired as your time in SIOP evolves. To actively change your membership type from Associate to Member, learn how you can upgrade your membership type to the next level.
Student membership in SIOP is for those enrolled in a postsecondary program and interested in the I-O psychology field. We invite you to take a moment and refresh yourself on student-specific benefits and resources. If you have a master’s degree or 2 years of graduate psychology coursework or a doctoral degree and are engaged in I-O psychology research, practice, or professional activities, please upgrade your membership to professional when renewing for access to the next level of tools and resources.
Affiliates of SIOP have an interest in I-O psychology science and want to know more about how to bring the practice to their careers and workplaces but are not I-O psychology students or professionals. We encourage you to continue building meaningful connections with SIOP members while learning about the field and accessing educational and career opportunities.
You can explore all membership benefits on our website.
To renew your membership, log in to your SIOP.org account, and then click the Renew/Upgrade button in the last section of your Personal Snapshot.
Upon your dues being renewed, your membership will be active through June 30, 2027. SIOP membership dues support every aspect of the Society’s mission, vision, and goals. Thank you for your continued membership and support.
The new system renewal process is explained in detail in this user guide, but please feel free to reach out to siop@siop.org if you have questions or need assistance.
