Conference Overflow Hotel Now Open

Registration for the 2024 SIOP Annual Conference is underway! As excitement for the conference ramps up, SIOP members are making their Chicago travel plans and our headquarter hotel block at the Hyatt Regency Chicago is nearly full! To support conference attendees in their planning, we have opened our overflow hotel block at the Fairmont Chicago – Millenium Park and may be looking for more hotels to add as the SIOP community shows its eagerness to convene in Chicago this April.

All of the hotels listed on our website are conveniently located near the Hyatt Regency Chicago, our meeting venue. Staying in an “official” SIOP hotel puts you close to all the conference action and improves your likelihood of bumping into friends and colleagues old and new while also helping SIOP meet its contractual obligations, a key component to keeping the conference going strong now and in the future.

SIOP Gives Back

The connection between I-O psychology and corporate social responsibility and prosocial activities is strong. Help us live out these ideals at the 2024 SIOP Annual Conference Closing Event where attendees will have the opportunity to build backpack kits and write notes to children and youth in Cook, DuPage, and Lake counties in Illinois and Indiana. This opportunity is made possible through a partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Chicago, an affiliate of the oldest, most respected mentoring organization in the U.S. Attendees can also visit the Big Brothers Big Sisters booth in the Exhibit Hall during the conference to learn more.
