The schedule for the second Global Work and Organizational Psychology (G-WOP) Conference, an annual initiative across more than 20 professional industrial and organizational societies and governing bodies from around the world, is now available. This event aims to bring colleagues together for connection, reflection, and shared learning to cultivate meaningful action, and, in its second year, has expanded to include a Global Employer Showcase and Career Fair pre-event, networking sessions, and rapid thesis events.
This unique, virtual format will occur over a 24-hour period, presenting a global marathon of conversations and ideas. The online format, spread across time zones and with every session recorded to be available to current members at a future date, is designed to make it easier than ever for colleagues from around the world to take part, wherever you are and whenever it works for you.
The event will begin September 17, 2026, 8 a.m. ET (12 p.m. UTC) and will conclude September 18, 2026, 8 a.m. ET (12 p.m. UTC), a true 24-hour marathon!
As the world of work continues to evolve, presenting both challenges and opportunities, the I-O psychology organizations believe it’s time to come together, across borders, time zones, and career stages, to listen, learn, support one another, and explore this fascinating field of psychology that connects us all.
Registration for SIOP members is at no additional cost but will require current membership through June 2027, with the goal to bring added value and greater accessibility to our global community.
