So Many Deadlines, So Little Time!

The deadline to pay your SIOP dues to avoid disruption in your membership benefits is June 30, 2020. If you have already paid your 2020-21 dues, thank you! If you haven’t paid yet, here is a quick reminder of all the things you will miss out on if you let your membership lapse!

  1. Newsbriefs: You won’t know what you don’t know, so maintain your good standing in SIOP to preserve your subscription to SIOP’s weekly newsletter.
  2. SIOP Volunteer System (SVS): Volunteering for SIOP committees is a win-win situation. You can build your professional network and engagement in the field, and SIOP can benefit from your expertise. The SVS closes June 30, so volunteer now!
  3. Awards: Most SIOP awards are open only to members, so if you are looking for financial support for your work, be sure to pay your dues and complete your award nomination by June 30.
  4. Industrial and Organizational Psychology: Perspectives on Science and Practice: Don’t lose your subscription! Whether in print or online, the best way to access the IOP journal is by being a SIOP member.
  5. SIOP 2021 Conference in New Orleans: Although you can pay dues any time before registering for the conference, if you want to submit a proposal, you must be a paid member. Don’t miss out on the submission process this summer because of a dues issue. Renew today!
  6. A host of other benefits: See the complete list of SIOP member benefits at https://www.siop.org/Membership/Benefits.

If you have questions about the benefits above, contact Jayne Tegge, Member Engagement Manager, at jtegge@siop.org.
