Join Us Sept. 24 for a 2022 SIOP Annual Conference Town Hall

Preparations are underway for the 2022 SIOP Annual Conference, and there is much to consider as we design an event with the high-quality, peer-reviewed content; diversity of perspectives and topics areas; and blend of science and practice you value.

Join 2022 SIOP Annual Conference Chair Whitney Botsford Morgan and 2022 SIOP Program Chair Richard Landers Sept. 24 for a live online town hall where they will provide a brief vision of the conference and a summary of the biggest changes. Then they’ll open the floor for a question-and-answer session with your questions submitted via YouTube Live Chat.

The town hall will be held 2 to 3 p.m. ET Sept. 24 on YouTube Live at https://youtu.be/2ZjtuCdBa0U. You do not need a YouTube (Google) account to watch the town hall, but you’ll need one to ask your own questions via the chat.

Preliminary plans for the 2022 SIOP Annual Conference are to offer an in-person, flagship event April 28-30, 2022, at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle, Washington, with a virtual offering so that members who do not make the trip to Seattle may still engage in a valuable subset of the conference.

The Conference Committee continues to keep health and safety considerations top of mind, and is following the Guiding Principles as they embark on this process.

For 36 years, the SIOP Annual Conference has brought together thousands of I-O psychology practitioners, educators, researchers, and students from around the world to network, share knowledge, and form lifelong professional connections and friendships. We look forward to continuing that tradition, and to seeing you in person, or virtually, at the 2022 SIOP Annual Conference.
