Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Accessibility Associate Editor Opportunity

The Scholarly Kitchen is seeking applicants for an Associate Editor for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) content. This editor will support the commission, editing, and publication of DEIA‐related posts by Scholarly Kitchen chefs or guest authors. Interested candidates are encouraged to send a cover letter, resume, and writing sample to The application deadline is November 15, 2021.


We are seeking someone with expertise in DEIA issues to:

  • provide support to Scholarly Kitchen authors,
  • help moderate comments,
  • liaise with SSP leadership and the DEI Committee, and
  • author original content or help to bring in guest posts (if interested).

This is a new leadership opportunity within SSP. The expected time commitment for this role is up to 5 hours per week. The successful candidate must have the support of their employer to serve in this capacity.
