Awards Strategy and Operations

The Awards Strategy and Operations subcommittee meets 4 to 8 times per year to review current practices, eligibility requirements, and award criteria. They provide recommendations for continuing, adding, or sunsetting awards, enhancing the review and nomination processes, and improving other aspects of the awards process.

Recognition Awards

This subcommittee oversees career-level awards honoring sustained excellence, impact, leadership, mentorship, and service in Industrial–Organizational psychology. The core work includes administering transparent review processes, conducting conflict-of-interest audits and recusals, ensuring equitable evaluation standards, and providing annual reporting on nominations, decisions, and process integrity to organizational leadership.

Scholarships and Grants

This subcommittee oversees awards supporting graduate students and I-O psychology professionals. The core work includes administering transparent, merit-based review processes; conducting conflict-of-interest audits and recusals; ensuring equitable evaluation standards; and providing annual reporting on applications, funding decisions, and process integrity to organizational leadership.
