Marizol serves as the Member Relations Specialist at the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP). In this role, she supports the engagement, growth, and satisfaction of SIOP’s diverse membership community. Marizol brings over 20 years of experience in member services, community engagement, data management, and organizational support, with a passion for creating meaningful connections and enhancing the member experience.
Prior to joining SIOP, Marizol worked at West Side Montessori, where she focused on parent relations, data management, and year-round processes, including creating efficient ways for staff and parents to utilize technology, streamlining member services, and developing communication strategies.
Outside of work, Marizol enjoys coaching at a local gym, where her passion for supporting and assisting women on their fitness journeys has flourished. In her free time, she loves backpacking, kayaking, taking road trips, and spending time with her kids. Marizol brings a cheerful energy to her work and is excited to contribute to SIOP’s mission by fostering a vibrant and inclusive community for all members.
