Michael Zickar received his PhD from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his research focuses on both psychometrics as well as the history of applied psychology. He is Sandman Professor of Industrial-Organizational Psychology at Bowling Green State University where he has served as a faculty member for 28 years. Prior to this term on SIOP’s Executive Board, he had previously served as SIOP Historian and had an earlier stint on the Executive Board from 2010-2014. Outside of psychology, Michael is involved in public and community service, having served as a Bowling Green City Council member and then as his county party chair.
