Artificial Intelligence is reshaping how organizations, employees, and leaders adapt in times of uncertainty and rapid change. The SIOP Local I-O Groups Committee will be hosting a free webinar, I-O’s Using AI in time of uncertainty and change.
In this interactive session, two AI experts, Dr. Josh Weaver and Dr. Kristen Voetmann Thornton, will share their perspectives on what industrial-organizational psychologists need to know about AI to remain successful and relevant in today’s evolving landscape. Together, we will explore how AI impacts academia, research, consulting, and internal roles—and discuss practical ways to bring others along on the AI journey. Although we will touch on how leaders of local I-O groups can use AI in their efforts to build community, this session is open to anyone who wants to learn more about AI. This session is designed to spark dialogue, share practical takeaways, and equip attendees with awareness and tools to responsibly and effectively use AI in their own work and with their local groups.
