Presenter

Lindsay Maclean, BSW, MSW, RSW is a registered social worker in Ontario, Canada. She holds a Correctional Worker Diploma, Bachelor of Social Work, and Master of Social Work. Lindsay has supported ill and injured Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) members and their families through on-base support centers and received the Spirit of the Military Family Coin for advocacy on behalf of veteran families. Program Description

Lindsay’s research explores the military-to-civilian transition of male CAF veterans living with operational stress injuries (OSIs). Drawing on over 20 years navigating military and veteran support systems as the spouse of a medically released veteran, she will present a literature overview, research methodology, and key findings illustrated through participant experiences.
