Program Description

“Moral injury” has become increasingly recognized in research, clinical practice, and public discussion as a psychological and ethical wound distinct from fear-based PTSD. Many service members experience profound moral conflict, responsibility, and emotional strain tied to military training, deployments, and service. Dr. Sherman will explore the philosophical, psychological, and ethical dimensions of moral trauma, followed by discussion.
