SIOP is accepting nominations now through 5 p.m. ET September 30 for Executive Board positions that will be open in spring 2026.
If you are a SIOP Member or Fellow, active or retired, please visit the nomination webpage to cast your nominations before the deadline for the following positions:
President-Elect
The President-Elect appoints the chairs of all committees for the next administrative year unless otherwise provided in the Bylaws or other SIOP policy. In some cases, committee chairs-in-training are appointed. Additionally, the President-Elect is responsible for on-boarding new members of the Executive Board and training of committee chairs. They serve a 3-year term in the form of President-Elect, President, and Past President.
Member-at-Large
A Member-at-Large serves a 3-year term on the Executive Board and engages in ongoing coordination with other board members to ensure that the Society pursues objectives specified in its strategic plan. They act as a fiduciary to steer the Society toward a sustainable future by adhering to financial management policies that ensure the Society has adequate resources to advance its mission.
Please note, the SIOP Executive Board has made several important changes to its composition, nomination process, and election process that are explained in this Town Hall recording.
Nominations are an essential part of ensuring strong leadership for the future. SIOP elections are focused on positive and civil communication. Fairness and openness are greatly valued during this process. These fundamentals reflect and amplify the positive culture of I-O psychology as a profession.
Thank you for helping us shape the future of SIOP by nominating qualified candidates for SIOP offices.
