Registration is now open for the SIOP Advocacy Academy, a series of webinars designed to provide SIOP members with the knowledge and skills needed to advocate for research funding, evidence-based policy, and other critical issues relevant to I-O psychology.

The 2026 program will feature three webinars, all of which begin at and end at 2 p.m. ET:

  • May 20: Introduction to Science Policy and Advocacy
  • June 24: Understanding the Federal Legislative Process
  • July 22: Engaging with Policymakers and Influencing Legislation

Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions of experts from Lewis-Burke Associates, SIOP’s government relations partner, on how they can best engage in advocacy at the federal, state, and local levels.

This free program is offered as a membership benefit and is open only to SIOP members, who should register by May 15. Please note, this is a three-part program and registration is for all three webinars, not an individual webinar.

Please contact David Feldner at dfeldner@siop.org with any questions.
