The SIOP Guidelines for Education & Training in Industrial-Organizational Psychology have been updated and will be submitted to APA for approval and posting soon. Before finalizing the document, the SIOP Education & Training Committee is asking for member input. The 30 day review of the draft version is coming to a close at 5 p.m. ET August 15, 2025.
Members may review either the entire document or just the sections of interest to them and complete the online form. All information will be kept confidential and used only to improve the document.
The guidelines are updated every 10 years, and the committee aimed to identify both established competencies that remain foundational and emerging areas that warranted inclusion, such as artificial intelligence.
