What is I-O?

Industrial-organizational (I-O) psychology is the scientific study of the workplace. Rigor and methods of psychology are applied to issues of critical relevance to business, including talent management, coaching, assessment, selection, training, organizational development, performance, and work-life balance.

Advertise in TIP and The Annual Convention Program

The Industrial-Organizational Psychologist (TIP) is the official newsletter of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Inc., Division 14 of the American Psychological Association and an organizational affiliate of the Association for Psychological Science. TIP is distributed four times a year to more than 6,000 Society members; the Society’s Annual Convention Program is distributed in the spring to the early conference registrants. The program is also available to registrants for pickup at the conference.  Members receiving both publications include academicians and professional practitioners in the field. In addition, TIP is distributed to international affiliates, graduate students, leaders of APA and APS, and individual and institutional subscribers. Current circulation is 6,500 copies per issue.

TIP is a 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" booklet, printed by offset on enamel stock. Type is 10 point Times New Roman.

“Position Available” ads are $113.00 for less than 200 words, and $134.00 for 200-300 words (these ads contain no graphics). Please submit position available ads by e-mail to graphics@siop.org.

Submitting a TIP Display Advertisement

• Fill out and fax an insertion order form if submitting display ad(s) for the first time or if the insertion order for display ad(s) has expired. 

• Send ad by e-mail to graphics@siop.org.  

• Fax a hard copy of the display ad to (419) 352-2645 or mail to SIOP Administrative Office, Attn: Lori Peake, 440 East Poe Road Ste 101, Bowling Green OH 43402-1355.

Advertisement Submission Format

All ads are black and white, with the exception of the back cover, so please remove all color before sending.  Advertising for SIOP's printed publications should be submitted in electronic format to graphics@siop.org.  Acceptable formats are Windows EPS, TIF, PDF, Illustrator with fonts outlined, Photoshop, or QuarkXpress files with fonts and graphics provided.  You must also provide a laser copy of the file (mailed or faxed) in addition to the electronic file.
