Continuing Education and Professional Development

SIOP offers a variety of high-quality, high-level continuing education opportunities for licensed psychologists, human resource management professionals, and the general professional development of those working in industrial-organizational psychology and related fields. Credit is generally offered at our annual Leading Edge Consortium (Fall), the annual conference (Spring), and the Work Smart Series of webinars.


For Psychologists

APA

The Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology Inc is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists.

The Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology Inc maintains responsibility for its programs and their content.

SIOP is not registered with the State of New York to offer psychology credits.

HRCI

SIOP maintains HR Certification Institute (HRCI) Approved Provider status.

SHRM

SIOP is recognized by SHRM to offer Professional Development Credits (PDCs) for the SHRM-CP® or SHRM-SCP® recertification activities.

Local Group CE Cosponsorship

 

SIOP partners with local I-O organizations to cosponsor continuing education programs for psychologists,

under the auspices of SIOP’s status as an approved sponsor with the American Psychological Association (APA).
