Jim Rebar / Wednesday, January 9, 2019 / Categories: Items of Interest Seeking Nominations for APA Council SIOP Administrative Office SIOP is now accepting nominations for a member to serve on the APA Council of Representatives. SIOP members who are also voting APA members will elect one representative. Nominees must be SIOP and APA members in good standing. The deadline for nominations is midnight EST January 30, 2019. The elected candidate will serve a 3-year term beginning January 1, 2020 and will also serve as a member of the SIOP Executive Board. The SIOP Elections Committee intends to submit a list of three nominees for the position to APA for the ballot. The nominees will be those eligible members who receive the highest number of nominations. It is required that each nominee submit a candidate statement not to exceed 250 words. These statements will be posted on the APA and SIOP websites to help educate voters. The ballot to vote for APA Council Representatives will come from APA.
