Help Pilot the SIOP Ambassador Program This Fall

The Ambassador Program is looking for volunteers to serve as newcomers and ambassadors and help us pilot a “hybrid” Ambassador Program. The pilot will include both virtual and, if possible, in-person components to complement the hybrid format of the SIOP 2021 Annual Conference.

With your support, we can test our ideas and gather feedback to help us take this program to the next level in 2021.

We will ask you to devote 1-2 hours this November. This will consist of:

• taking a pre-pilot survey to help support our efforts to match ambassadors and newcomers and a post-pilot survey to learn about your experiences,
• reaching out to another SIOP member that you have been matched with, and
• interacting in an online platform, and
• potentially participating in a focus group or interviews to share feedback and insights on how to design a great hybrid program.

By volunteering, you get the opportunity to make a connection with, and possibly make a difference for, another SIOP member. Your participation also helps our team in making sure the offerings of the Ambassador Program will continue to be high quality, impactful, and viable in 2021 and beyond.
