'Strengthening American Infrastructure' expands, offers new funding opportunities

The U.S. National Science Foundation’s Strengthening American Infrastructure program now offers support for multi-year collaborative research projects. The program supports research that incorporates scientific insights about human behavior and social dynamics to better design, develop, rehabilitate and maintain strong and effective American infrastructure.

Launched in 2021, Strengthening American Infrastructure is a human-centered, cross-disciplinary research program led by social and behavioral scientists in collaboration with researchers from a wide range of fields including engineering, computer science, education, biology, mathematics, physical sciences and geosciences.

We invite you to contribute to this effort and submit your proposals. For full details please see the Strengthening American Infrastructure program.
