Call for Proposals Now Available

The Call for Proposals (CFP) for the 2024 SIOP Annual Conference has been released.

The Submission Center will open Sept. 6, 2023. The submission deadline for proposals is October 11, 2023.

SIOP is continuing both in-person (in Chicago) and online conference programming in the spirit of accessibility and inclusion for the upcoming conference. Three choices are offered when submitting proposals:

  1. In-person only. These sessions will be presented live in Chicago from April 18-20, 2024. A number of in-person sessions will be recorded for attendees to watch later, and non-poster submitters will be asked upon submission whether they are willing to have their session recorded.
  2. Online only. Non-poster sessions (e.g., symposia, panels, master tutorials) will be delivered concurrently with the in-person program via Zoom. Online posters will continue to be delivered asynchronously.
  3. Flexible. This year, we are offering a new option for those who are open to either session modality (in person or online). Sessions will be assigned a modality if they are accepted.

In-person attendees will be able to present in both in-person and online sessions; however, online attendees will ONLY be able to present in online sessions.

There are a few other changes from last year, so we recommend carefully reading through the Call for Proposals for further details regarding eligibility and submission formatting and requirements.

The breadth and depth of research, practice, and thought leadership within our SIOP community is an amazing resource we should share with each other during the 2024 SIOP Annual Conference. Please submit your proposals so we can connect, learn, and grow together.
