How are I/O Psychologists Supporting Military and Veterans?

The Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) wants to know about the work you’re doing to support military members, veterans, and their families.  SIOP will be promoting military- and veteran-related I/O research, content, and programs during the upcoming SIOP Serving Military Week, coinciding with the relaunch of the SIOP Military and Veterans Initiative in early November. SIOP is seeking links to research, infographics, videos, resources, projects, initiative highlights, white papers, publications, or any other appropriate online media to support this effort.

The 21st Century Executive: Innovative Practices for Building Leadership at the Top gives tips on how to build and maintain an effective leadership team, one with great understanding of executive dynamics and development tools. This SIOP Professional Practices Series edition is an essential resource for HR professionals and I-O practitioners.

The multi-authored book also helps executives, CEOs, and middle-level managers wanting toclimb the corporate ladder and refine their skills. Many chapters explore executive performance and documents unique to executive-level human resources applications.

Despite its seriousness, sexual harassment prevention training inspires entire (albeit, tongue-in-cheek) episodes in popular American television shows, including The Office and NCIS, and memorable skits in many other venues, including Saturday Night Live.
