The goal of this Forum is to promote discussion and incubate new ideas among AI researchers who are interested in addressing and highlighting challenges related to implementing AI (e.g., LLMs, NLP, Computer vision) in employee selection, including selecting candidates, ensuring fairness, generating assessments, and candidates automatically completing interviews with AI, as well as novel issues not yet discussed. The forum will contain a mix of presentations, networking activities, and posters. All SIOP members are welcome to register!

1:00-1:15 p.m.: Introductions, Expectation Setting, and Scope (what do we mean by AI)

1:15-2:00 p.m.: Lightning Rounds of Five Presentations

2:00-3:15 p.m.: Coffee Break, Posters, & Networking

3:30-5:00 p.m.: Roundtables on the Topics from the Lightning Round Presentations (including forming collaborations and discussing future research directions)

  • Roundtable 1: MLLM use in unproctored assessments
  • Roundtable 2: Using LLMs to create and rate interviews with BARS
  • Roundtable 3: Using LLMs to generate assessment items
  • Roundtable 4: Effective collaboration with AI
  • Roundtable 5: Preferences for AI- vs. human-powered decision making

5:00-5:30 p.m.: Readouts from Roundtables and Closing Remarks
