Doug Reynolds earned his doctorate in industrial and organizational psychology and specializes in the design of systems for generating people data to enhance leadership performance and reduce corporate risk. His career contributions include serving as chief science officer at Development Dimensions International, where he developed software-based assessment and learning products, and did extensive consulting work deploying technology-based behavioral simulations for executive evaluation. He is a recipient of SIOP’s Distinguished Professional Contributions Award, and his past SIOP involvement includes serving as past president (2012–2013), leading or serving numerous committees and taskforces, and currently serving as series editor for SIOP’s Professional Practice Book Series. Outside of work, Doug enjoys downhill skiing wherever he can find steep, powdery, or tree-laden slopes, spending time in nature, and restoring an antique sports car.
