Dr. John C. Scott is the co-CEO and co-founder of APTMetrics, a global human resource consulting firm specializing in advanced talent management solutions for multinational corporations and market leaders. With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Scott has designed and implemented talent management and assessment systems in diverse, high-stakes, global settings. During this time, he has led APTMetrics’ talent management and leadership assessment practice.

In addition to co-editing the award-winning Handbook of Workplace Assessment, he is co-editor of Next Generation Technology-Enhanced Assessment and the recently released book, Sustainable Development Through the World of Work: Translating Insights from Organizational Psychology.
Dr. Scott is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association and three of its divisions: Quantitative and Qualitative Methods (Division 5), Society of Consulting Psychology (Division 13), and Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (Division 14 – SIOP). John has received SIOP’s Distinguished Professional Contributions, Distinguished Service, and Humanitarian Awards. He is also a Trustee of the SIOP Foundation and has served as SIOP’s main representative to the United Nations, an APA Council representative, and editor-in-chief of SIOP’s premier journal, Industrial and Organizational Psychology: Perspectives on Science and Practice.
