Scott earned his PhD in psychology at the University of Missouri. His primary area of expertise is the application of judgment and decision-making research to understanding assessment and selection for employment. Scott is Distinguished Research Professor and Ohio Eminent Scholar in the Department of Psychology, Bowling Green State University. He has been named a fellow of APA, APS, and SIOP. Scott has previously served as SIOP historian, Division 14 conference chair, and Publications Officer. Scott has five lovely children, is a movie enthusiast, and remains hopelessly devoted to the Cleveland Browns.
