Continuing Education Content for Every Career Stage

As a SIOP member, you have access to a wide range of continuing education opportunities designed to help you stay current, deepen your expertise, and advance your career in industrial-organizational psychology. There are a variety of in-person and virtual events that SIOP offers for you to receive continuing education credits at a discounted rate.

Each year on the Wednesday before the SIOP Annual Conference, preconference workshops are held in 4- hour blocks in the morning and afternoon. Preconference workshops are designed to provide in-depth learning and practical insights on key topics in industrial-organizational psychology.

Friday Seminars are another opportunity for CE credit that is available through the SIOP Annual Conference. Friday Seminars are 3-hour sessions that offer an opportunity to dive into the latest I-O psychology topics and learn from scholars and practitioners in the field while also interacting with the speakers and other attendees.

The SIOP Leading Edge Consortium (LEC) is held in person each year in the fall and offers CE credit in a 2-day, in-depth presentation on timely topics in the I-O psychology field. The 2025 LEC will take place October 23-24 in Atlanta, Georgia. The SIOP Work Smart Series provides concise, expert insights about enhancing workplace effectiveness and performance delivered through four live, virtual workshops offered once each quarter. The next workshop will be held 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. ET on Wednesday, June 11, and will cover the Science of Meetings.
